Dreaming of Spring

mephotowordpressDreaming of Spring but my mind is still picturing Autumn. The weather has been frigid cold but a few days there was just a tease of warmth. I yearn for the vibrant colors, greenery and fragrance of spring flowers. So during this cold spell I painted and even went through the sketch book to turn into canvas creations that will be fun to developing this blog. Winter can be a time used to turn colorful dreams into reality.

Watercolor Titled ‘Autumn’

So Let’s ROLL!

I purchased a small sports camera that came with oodles of attachments and specifically the one that attached to a bicycle handlebar made the sale. The cost was not that much compared to other sport action cameras, and I never created a video before, therefore, it made sense to give it a try. There are a few settings that need to be tested out and one has to become familiar with how those options operate under lighting conditions. So Let’s Roll is a short inspirational film that I hope you will enjoy and share.

Another Spectacular Colorful Day

Today it is cloudy, the leaves are slightly bouncing up and down. The weather is deciding shall it rain or just stay gray. Yesterday was quite the opposite, a glorious day. As I stood in line at the local handy stop store the people’s eyes were beaming with delight and they commented on it being a spectacular day. Autumn – it’s here!

Autumn Ends, Winter Begins

Today I took a bicycle spin into the trail.  It was just after noon time and the sky was clear blue. The lighting was overwhelming even in the woods. Shadows cast everywhere, the light was very strange  and also experienced many moods for one day. I decided not to edit out any photos and you will find part one to be very different from part two. In a way the day captures become a study about light that I want to share.

Today my bicycle had a flat tire. It was a slow leak and not noticed until the end of the day at home. That tire did get a few years wear and allot of miles, so I really cannot complain. The next series of nature captures will be when it snows! I have allot of material to start creating, experimenting on the art-side.
