The Versatile Blogger Award!

versatile-blogger-awardThis is quite a surprise and extremely happy to be nominated for The Versatile Blogger Award! A huge shout out to Ashley at keepaweathereye/The Optimist for recommending my WordPress site, LemonChronicle to receive this award.  I do not like to hold anything back and enjoy most points of views and exploring new ways to approach seeing each new day as if the first. When I do visit a website it is just as important to me as a visitor that the author, artist receives exposure by my sharing. I call it blogging ethics while being connected to other social media. Everyone takes their valuable time and talent to grasp this communication tool to express his or her travels, business offerings, political viewpoint and creative experiences. By following some great authors one even learns that just one character develops a deep treasured meaning of expression or idea! My recent endeavors in postings highlights a number of series.

For example:

Short fictional stories could be found at the series titled, ‘Things I Find Along The Side Of The Road’. I walk my Lacey dog daily and find very interesting objects! It should also bring about an awareness to those that just toss things out their vehicle windows. This series also encourages a visitor to express creative ideas on how that item ended up on the side of the road.

Bicycle riding is a trip! Weather permitting, I break out the shiny black mountain bike and hit the terrain of local bike trails at Sussex County, New Jersey. Nature is in its abundance and it is most enjoyable to collect digital captures from my IPhone to share at the series titled, ‘Spring Transformation’.

Everyone goes to the local grocery store but may not stop to smell the flowers!  A weekly trip developed into an idea to share flowers from all seasons. This series is titled, ‘All Season Flower Grocery’. We can now be assured of year round smiles!

Painting is my passion and at LemonChronicle, I post my fine art work. Canvas prints, greeting cards … available for sale and a purchase could help to support this website. 🙂

Lemonchronicle is also a reflection of my diverse career path. I held positions working as a graphic artist in print publishing, advertising. I met many interesting talented professionals, all aspiring to excel and achieve success too. The sectors of corporate businesses that I worked at as a assistant and consultant included engineering and construction of large manufacturing facilities, research and development – chemical manufacturing processes that even produced coatings for LCD displays. Today, like most in a increasing challenging potentially dynamic economy – (optimism), I traveled to the internet and roadways seeking opportunities that will compliment my journey. Lemonchronicle is one of those projects that I have found helpful to keep creatively centered, informed and in touch with a diverse audience. Unfortunately, we live in a down, up, down cycle of employment. Hopefully, LemonChronicle will touch those that visit. Thank you so much to ALL of my followers for making this nomination possible.

The Versatile Blogger Award rules:

Thank the person who gave you this award. That’s common courtesy.
Include a link to their blog. That’s also common courtesy — if you can figure out how to do it.
Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly.
Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award — you might include a link back to the post on your site announcing their nomination.
Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

I would like to nominate for The Versatile Blogger Award the following …
(Many could have been nominated before but I would like to list and similar to Ashley’s response by adding beyond the requirement.)

Several things about myself!

1) I take care of two dogs, Murphy a senior Bichon and my dog Lacey a rescue mix. Both keep me busy, one with health issues and the other with non stop energy. I always had a dog or cat, parakeet in my life and find that pets are part of the family.

2) The search for another lifestyle had me doodling every which way to design a house on wheels. After all of my research, I discovered that a canvas walled tent – framed out with a metal roof fly would work better for my needs. I watched many a video on putting together solar panels and would also eventually put myself to completing this task.

3) I experiment with cooking from time to time. Love baking french bread!

4) Kayaking is fun! At a local lake I make a round trip to a marshy area and watch the birds. I like wildlife and some sports.

5) I enjoy writing short stories and sketching.

6) Over the past years, work has always kept me busy or seeking employment. What I enjoy doing most is gardening, hiking and bicycle riding.

7) I appreciate what life has to offer, and do not look back unless it adds value to appreciate my God Given Path!
